Angela is no stranger to radio Wales.  She is a regular contributor on a variety of programmes. She presented My Life On A Plate for two years quizzing guests about thier life and love of food.  Guests included mastermind John Humphries, football ledgend John Toshack, super chef Paul Rankin, designer David Emanuel, actor Victor Spinetti, Max Boyce and author Lynn Barrett-Lee.

Angela is so busy recently on the television circuit as she is just finishing her own TV series called ’Overnight Success’ which to be aired on BBC Wales on 13th January 2004.  The series looks at a sector of the hospitality industry across Wales, and Angela gives her professional opinion to the proprietors on how to improve business and the fundamentals of getting it right!  One of the proprietors that she interviews are the Church’s - Charlotte Church’s parents.  Tune into this series to gain insight and tips into about how to get it right within the hospitality industry.

This year Cook Start aims to build on the successes of 2004.  A new demonstration programme is being devised for visitors at food festivals throughout Wales.  Dates will be announced once confirmed.

The priority for this year is to develop a toolkit that will be available to health and education.  The toolkit will contain all aspects of the project including procurement (land and sea), local foods (foods from Wales, agriculture, traditional dishes), global foods (infuences, exotic ingredients), food science (including experiments and growing projects), cookery classes, recipes, food safety and nutrition.
